My husband and I have seen the good work the Boise Rescue Mission does to help the homeless, the single mothers with children, the drug rehab program, as well as food for the poor and so many outreaches to meet a variety of needs. Because of this, we would like to give after we die, as well as during our lives. Our two sons are doing well and have received good educational help from us, so rather than give to them everything, we feel strongly that we are to remember the poor and orphans, divorced and needy, as well.
Jesus told the story of the "sheep and the goats" and He Himself said that giving is for the "least of these," and "not those who can pay you back."
Because of our commitment to Him to give to "the least of these," we will give to Him, through the Boise Rescue Mission, even in our deaths. When we stand before Him, we want to know we did our best with what He gave to us.
